Josue's YouTube vlog regarding American Hand Alphabet
Some of the handshape legends in Auslan (see the previous photo here) that produce Auslan signs, are derived from one-handed American or Irish manual alphabets. Examples of the alphabets are B, O, X, F, P, Y, T, H, K, Irish I, Irish H, R and S.

Can anyone learn Auslan as a second language or a foreign language?
Welcome to this blogsite, "Auslan for Parents"
The purpose of this blogsite is to enable you not only to effectively communicate with your teacher through the use of the comments facility, but you can also access the comprehension exercise that appears in an exchange text or a monologue text and study language features in an Auslan vlog format. Added to this, here is another category, description and example which may help you to understand metalanguage. When you watch one of the vlogs and need further information and/or clarification, please see and click on the comments facility. I look forward to your active learning and comments on this blogsite.
